Dogs for Adoption or Sponsorship

We are a NEVER KILL rescue with up to 204 dog- beds, always running at or near capacity. We are NOT a "network" or a "virtual" rescue. We take in any surrender regardless of pedigree, medical or behavioral problems, illness or injury. We pay rent for our kennel, utilities, 200 lbs. of dog food per day, custodial employee wages, vet bills for 200 dogs and most importantly provide a safe, warm, environment for life, if necessary.

Teddy and Bonita

Jax FOSTERED!

Sweet Azul was found wandering on a street.
She's a gorgeous "blue" color and has bits of white in her socks.
She's very well mannered and pleasant and would love to get a new home.

Spike

Autumn

Hazel

Dazy

Adonis and Butternut, two highly pedigreed brothers.
They are very soft and very sweet. You have to feel their coats to believe it.
They were turned in because the owner could no longer care for them.

Buddies- owner turned in after 7 years of love and faithfulness.
They have really started to come out of their shells with consistent therapy at our hospital.

Tiki was loyal to a fault. Tuned in for defending his sick master,
he is deeply traumatized but is starting to respond to consistent love.

Little black Romeo is a complete living doll; he has to be to have let us put that festive collar on him.

Joker

Brandon, another breeder cast- off. He came in with a serious eye infection and other injuries.

Hi. My name is Charlotte and I am a very pretty 2 year old girl. But my looks are nothing compared to the rest of me. Chihuahua Rescue volunteers have been hanging with me and have given me so many compliments I do not know where to start...so, I will say that they use the word 'GREAT' every time they describe me. I have a GREAT personality, GREAT disposition, GREAT smile, GREAT eyes and I love people. My story goes, well, I am a purebred Chihuahua and my previous owners used me to breed (typical)! After I gave my previous family a beautiful litter of puppies, they did not want me anymore so they took me to the shelter and left me there to die. I was rescued at the last minute and now I am here. I really would love to start my new life with a wonderful new family 'cause I know once you meet me, you'll never look back. Again, I'm Charlotte and if you live in the Southern California area, please fill out an application and mention me...and find out what unconditional love really is.
